Mohamed Salah has become the first player to win the Premier League Player of the Year award from the PFA for a third time. The Egyptian star has just shared his reaction.
Coming off a stellar season with 29 goals and 18 assists to his name, Salah had already claimed the Player of the Year title in the 2017/18 and 2021/22 campaigns. On Tuesday night, he once again lifted the PFA Player of the Year trophy
A trophy that brings immense joy to the Egyptian forward. "This very special award takes on an entirely new meaning when it comes alongside a major trophy. Being champions is essential, and we will fight to keep that status this season. I am extremely grateful to the players who voted for me." Salah wrote on X.
This very special award hits different when we have an important trophy to go along with it. Being champions is what matters and we will fight to do it again this season. I am incredible grateful to the players who voted for me. pic.twitter.com/L9nkm4ltMr
