Olympic champ Gable Steveson set to make MMA debut on Sept. 12 with LFA

One of the greatest heavyweight wrestlers of this era is finally making his transition to MMA.

One of the greatest heavyweight wrestlers of this era is finally making his transition to MMA.

Gable Steveson, the American Olympian who made history at the 2020 Games as the youngest freestyle wrestler to ever win Olympic gold at super heavyweight, is set to make his long-awaited professional MMA debut on Sept. 12 at LFA 217. The event is expected to go down in Steveson's home state of Minnesota, at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake.
