The Chicago Sky suffered another tough loss on Tuesday. This came in the form of an 81-79 defeat at the hands of the Washington Mystics, which marked Chicago's second straight loss and its 13th of the season.

The Sky wasted another praise-worthy performance from Angel Reese, who dropped a monster 22-point, 15-rebound double-double, to go along with four assists and a steal. Despite Reese's strong effort, the Sky still came out on the losing end in what turned out to be another disappointing outing.

The frustration boiled over for Reese during the game. At one point late in the fourth quarter, the 23-year-old was seen slapping a clipboard out of a Sky assistant coach's hand as she made her way back to the bench.

Reese addressed the heated incident on X on Tuesday night, explaining her side of the story.

"Those **** were pissing me off😭 shoutout to Ann because she know it was the heat of the moment and she didn’t let me apologize because she knew! Not happening again tho🤦🏽‍♀️😭" she posted.

Reese explained that she meant no disrespect with what she did. The former LSU star also expressed that coach Ann Crosby was not offended by her actions, and that Crosby did not even want Reese to apologize.

Either way, Reese owned up to her mistake by promising that this would not happen again in the future.

It's a quick turnaround for Reese and Co. as they get back on the court on Wednesday in a home game against Paige Bueckers and the 6-14 Dallas Wings. This should be a good opportunity for Chicago to turn things around and put an end to its current slump.
