UCF head coach Scott Frost shook social media with a short message on his tenure with the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Scott Frost is making his return as head coach of the UCF Knights this season. His first tenure with the school was only two seasons. This time around, though, it sounds like Frost might not leave so suddenly.
If he does, it will have to be for the exact right situation.
When asked at Big 12 media days Tuesday about what he learned during his stint at Nebraska, where Frost coached between his two UCF tenures, the head coach sent a simple response.
"Don't take the wrong job," Frost said, via The Athletic's Chris Vannini.
The Athletic senior writer's tweet with Frost's five-word message crossed one million views less than six hours after it was posted.
In a lot of ways, it's hard to argue Nebraska was the "wrong job" for Frost. The Lincoln, Nebraska native started two seasons for his hometown school in 1996 and 1997 after getting redshirted in 1995. During that time, the Cornhuskers won two national championships in 1995 and 1997.
He was very much "going home" with the decision to become the Nebraska head coach.
But Frost went on to explain Tuesday why Nebraska was the "wrong job" for him.
"I said I wouldn't leave [UCF] unless it was someplace you could win a national championship," Frost said. "I got tugged in a direction to try and help my alma mater and didn't really want to do it.
"It wasn't a good move. I'm lucky to get back to a place where I was a lot happier."

Frost's tenure at Nebraska was largely considered a disaster. The former Cornhuskers quarterback led the program to a 16-31 record over parts of four seasons. Nebraska fired Frost three games into the 2022 season.
In two years at UCF from 2016-17, Frost led the Knights to a 19-7 record. UCF went 13-0, which included a victory against Auburn in the Peach Bowl, during Frost's second campaign.
Last season, he served as a senior analyst with the Los Angeles Rams.
