Cristian Romero has penned a new four-year contract with Tottenham.
The 27-year-old was named Spurs captain earlier this summer following the departure of Heung-min Son to MLS side LAFC.
Romero had been linked with a move away from the club this summer with Atletico Madrid interested, but has now further pledged his commitment to Spurs by signing a new deal.
He joined the club from Atalanta in 2021 and has gone on to make a total of 126 appearances for Spurs, helping them to win the Europa League title last season.
It follows the news that Djed Spence has also signed a new long-term deal with the club.
Youngster Mikey Moore, who is on loan for the season at Rangers, also penned a new contract last week.
Spurs, meanwhile, are continuing to work on a deal for Crystal Palace star Ebere Eze.
