Steelers sign former Seahawks CB

The Pittsburgh Steelers continue to add to their defensive backfield.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Kam Alexander, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Alexander signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon. In 2023 while with UTSA, he had an astounding 15 pass deflections and two interceptions. He picked off one pass in 2024 with the Ducks.

The Steelers made severe changes to their secondary this past offseason, signing former New York Jets cornerback Brandin Echols and trading safety Minkah Fitzpatrick for Jalen Ramsey, as well as tight end Jonnu Smith.

Pittsburgh will close out preseason play this Thursday in Carolina against the Panthers.
