Every player in Philadelphia 76ers history who has worn No. 65

Here is a list of every player in the history of the Philadelphia 76ers who has worn the No. 65 uniform.

It’s summer in the NBA, so it’s time to learn history. The Philadelphia 76ers are one of the older franchises in the NBA. Their history dates to the 1949-50 season.

Given that longevity, the team has had hundreds of players come through the City of Brotherly Love. Sixers Wire looks at the uniform No. 65 which has been worn by only two players in Sixers history.

This is a running series as we go through the uniform numbers in franchise history. There will be some new additions to these lists, as the Philadelphia team had several new players in the 2024-25 season.

For now, it's time to start with No. 65:

George Ratkovicz

Ratkovicz wore three different numbers while playing for the Syracuse Nationals. He wore No. 65 and No. 6 in the 1949-50 season with the Nats. In his three seasons with the franchise, he averaged 9.7 points and 6.6 rebounds.

Alex Reese

Reese played 14 games for Philadelphia in the 2024-25 season and averaged 5.3 points and 3.3 rebounds while shooting 36.6% from deep. He has a terrific story as he sat down with Sixers Wire and opened up about his journey from being a bartender to the NBA.
