Caitlin Clark is expected return to the Indiana Fever lineup on Wednesday afternoon when they face the Golden State Valkyries.

Fever head coach Stephanie White said that barring any setbacks, the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year will play.

"It's just nice to get back out there and get in the flow with my teammates again," Clark said during Tuesday's practice, via Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files. "It's going to be fun to get back out there hopefully and just feel things again."

Clark has missed five games due to a groin injury that has sidelined her since June 26 and has sat out a total of 10 games for the Fever after dealing with a quad injury earlier in the season.

"It's obviously hard sitting out and watching for a few weeks, so I'm definitely excited to get back out there," Clark said.

Not a fan of playing with a minutes restriction, Clark said she hoped to play in the "upper-20s" when it came to minutes. "It depends how I feel and how the game goes and what the team needs as well," she said, while adding she wasn't going to try to overdo it in her first game back.

In nine games played this season Clark has averaged 18.2 points, 8.9 assists, 5 rebounds, and 1.6 steals in 33:20 minutes per game.

The Fever sport a 9-9 record and sit seventh in the WNBA standings.
