The 6-foot-2, 175-pound point guard from Blair Academy (Brooklyn, NY) took home MVP honors at the Steph Curry Camp in the Bay Area. Steph Curry himself awarded him with the MVP trophy on Friday.

Rippey had to beat out some elite talent to take home the honors. The loaded list of attendees included 2026 Kentucky targets Baba Oladotun and Cole Cloer, as well as 2027 target Nasir Anderson, among others.
Rippey is the No. 2 point guard and the No. 12 overall prospect in the 2026 Rivals Industry Ranking. Rivals is higher on Rippey than the rest of the industry, ranking him as the No. 2 point guard and the No. 8 overall player in the class.
Plenty of Visits on the Way
Deron Rippey Jr. is set to take more visits than nearly anyone in the country this fall. He’s set to visit Kentucky from Oct. 3-5, but that’s one of 11 visits set for this fall.
