The Dallas Mavericks are set to open the Las Vegas Summer League against the Los Angeles Lakers on July 10 at 7 p.m.

Cooper Flagg, the No. 1 overall pick and one of the most hyped prospects to enter the NBA in the last decade, will highlight a Mavericks team that will face off against Bronny James and the Lakers at the NBA 2K26 Summer League at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center.

This event, which runs through July 20, brings together all 30 NBA teams for an 11-day showcase of rookies, second-year players, and unsigned prospects vying for roster spots and recognition.

The Mavericks’ schedule is packed with marquee matchups, including games against No. 2 pick Dylan Harper and the San Antonio Spurs on July 12, No. 4 pick Kon Knueppel and the Charlotte Hornets on July 14, and No. 3 pick VJ Edgecombe and the Philadelphia 76ers on July 16.

A fifth game for the Mavericks is guaranteed to take place at some point during the event, but the opponent and schedule for that matchup have not been determined at this time.

In addition to Flagg, the Mavericks’ roster will consist of multiple rookies and second-year players seeking to establish themselves in the NBA.
