Former Roma goalkeeper Rui Patricio could be set for a return to Serie A.
The veteran shot-stopper is currently a free agent following his stint with Al-Ain in the United Arab Emirates and is actively searching for a new club.
According to Alfredo Pedullà, the 37 year-old is evaluating several offers — and has recently been proposed to Napoli. The Partenopei reportedly appreciate the veteran Portuguese keeper and are expected to make a final decision in the coming days.
Rui Patricio spent three seasons at Roma before leaving the club in 2024, subsequently joining Atalanta on a one-year deal before moving to the UAE in May.
However, a return to Italy could now be on the horizon.
