The Boston Red Sox have really bounced back from years of mediocrity this season, and a lot of it has to do with their new superstar, Alex Bregman. He became a leader for the team, and his bat and glove have proved invaluable.

However, with his current contract, he could decide to leave at any moment, and many people don't know what he'll do. But, signs from Bregman have pointed that he would really like to stay.

In an interview with NESN after his collaboration with Sam Adams Beer, he revealed he and his wife truly love Boston, and wants to stick around long-term.

“Talking with [Alex Cora] before I signed, he did a good job of telling me about Boston…since I’ve been here, my wife and I have loved every second of it. I feel like we were expecting to love it, but we have loved it even more,” Bregman said.

Bregman continued, stating his only focus for the future is winning, and he thinks they can win this year.

“Just winning, just winning. I just want to win. That’s it. That’s all I want to do. When you play in the postseason, there’s something about it that you just want to do it every year. I feel like we’re in a really good spot to do that this year…I want to keep doing it, and I want to do it for a long time,” Bregman stated.

Hopefully, this means he wants to continue winning in Boston as well. Every Sox fan would love for him to stay, as he could possibly lead the team to its 10th pennant.
