The Indiana Fever are preparing for a matchup against the Dallas Wings.
Indiana has been playing a majority of the season without WNBA star Caitlin Clark. While they're missing their lead guard, head coach Stephanie White has found success.
The Fever are looking to spark a win streak, coming off a blowout victory over the Chicago Sky. But, just before facing Dallas, Indiana announced the addition of several new teammates.
A few athletes from the Special Olympics joined the Fever on one-day contracts.
"The best day for our newest teammates," posted the official social media account of the Indiana Fever. "Athletes from Special Olympics of Indiana joined us yesterday to sign one-day contracts, watch practice up close, snap photos with @FreddyFever and enjoy a shopping spree at the @FeverTeamStore."

Caitlin Clark reacted to the news, mentioning, "New teammates, baby," in a video posted by the Indiana Fever.
Upon the release of the video, some fans took to social media, sharing their thoughts on the move by Indiana.

The Fever will face the Wings on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. ET. Indiana enters the game tied for fifth in the WNBA standings at 18-14.
