The Houston Rockets made the splash of the summer when they traded for Kevin Durant, and he is already making noise before the season begins.
The Rockets knew they were ready for title contention this offseason after seeing their young core rise to the second seed in the West. With such a successful season, the team opted to make a deal to add Durant this summer, cementing Houston as one of the top contenders in the league.
While Durant is yet to make his debut for the Rockets, he has been incredibly active on social media since arriving. Of course, the former MVP is no stranger to long days and nights on Twitter.
Known best for clapping back at fans and even for having burner accounts, Durant is a Twitter celebrity as much as he is a Hall of Famer on the floor. In one of his latest Twitter arguments, Durant argued with a fan about their basketball experience, even saying that he’d be fine if he lost every game for the rest of his career. That last bit of his tweet drew one of the funniest responses Durant has ever received.

The fan, @DedicationHoops, quoted that final line of Durant’s response and added “WAIT!!!” Adding in a picture of a squirrel gesturing wait with its arms, it's a perfect example of the way Durant can fire up the internet with just one thing.
Of course, Durant won’t actually be trying to lose every game, which should give Rockets fans some relief. As he looks to win a championship in Houston, the Rockets will be relying on him in the postseason to perform at an MVP level.
