Monday’s episode of WWE Raw set the stage for a major world title showdown at Clash in Paris at the end of August.
In the opening segment, LA Knight interrupted CM Punk’s promo to acknowledge that Punk had been wronged by Seth Rollins and his fake injury, claiming Punk deserved another title opportunity.
However, Knight reminded Punk that he cost him his own shot last week, proposing that Punk step aside so Knight could face Rollins first, with Punk getting the next chance.
Later in the main event, Punk reluctantly teamed with Knight against Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. The alliance broke down when Rollins interfered as Punk was about to hit the GTS on Breakker, ending the match in a chaotic brawl.
Rollins attacked Punk until Jey Uso stormed in, clearing the ring of Breakker and swinging a chair at the champion, who narrowly avoided it.

Fatal Four-Way Announced For Clash in Paris
The brawl escalated until Raw general manager Adam Pearce emerged, accusing Rollins of lying and using constant interference to his advantage.
Rather than punish him, Pearce declared that Rollins would defend the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash in Paris on August 31 in a fatal four-way against Punk, Knight and Uso.
WWE confirmed the event after Monday's WWE Raw ended, setting off another fight between CM Punk and LA Knight, drawing Uso into the fray before The Vision struck again.
Seth Rollins And 'The Vision' Make a Statement
With Reed and Breakker assisting, Rollins dismantled all three challengers on Monday.
Breakker speared Knight, Reed crushed Uso with a Tsunami, and Rollins delivered curbstomps to Knight, Uso, and finally Punk after taunting him face-to-face.
“As long as I breathe, you will never win the title,” Rollins told Punk as the show came to a close with The Vision in control.
Clash in Paris, scheduled for Aug. 31, now features Rollins defending his title against three top contenders, alongside Naomi vs. Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship and John Cena vs. Logan Paul.
