Dylan Stewart, LaNorris Sellers ranked Top 10 in college football by On3

In addition to On3 | Rivals’ history in the high school recruiting rankings game, On3 is also now in the college player ranking business.

In a surprise to no one, On3 is incredibly high on Dylan Stewart and LaNorris Sellers, ranking both members of the South Carolina duo in the Top 10 in America.

On3 ranks Stewart the No. 2 overall player in the entire country, making him the top EDGE in college football.

Just a few spots back is Sellers, South Carolina’s superstar quarterback and Heisman contender, who is considered the No. 8 overall player and No. 2 quarterback in the sport.

For those curious, Ohio State playmaking wideout Jeremiah Smith is the only player ahead of Stewart as the No. 1 overall player in the country.

Arizona State quarterback Sam Leavitt is the only quarterback ranked ahead of Sellers in the rankings, checking in at No. 5 overall.

Gamecocks defensive back Jalon Kilgore has steadily built momentum on the NFL Draft coverage circuit this offseason and On3 is equally high on the two-year starter who will once again be in the starting lineup this season.

Kilgore is considered the No. 2 safety and No. 31 overall player in the country.

Wide receiver Nyck Harbor, expected to make another big jump this season after giving up track in the spring, is the only other Gamecock in the Top 300 as the No. 31 WR and No. 263 overall player.

Several other players — Rahsul Faison (No. 26 RB), Brandon Cisse (No. 32 CB), Michael Smith (No. 32 TE), and Josiah Thompson (No. 46 OT) — were featured in position rankings but did not land in the national rankings.

South Carolina is now two weeks into its preseason camp as it counts down the days to its Aug. 31 season opener against Virginia Tech in Atlanta.
