Leeds United are interested in recruiting the services of AC Milan forward Noah Okafor this summer, according to The Athletic. Leeds manager Daniel Farke still wants to bolster his attack at the Elland Road club despite closing in on a move for Dominic Calvert-Lewin after reaching an agreement in principle to sign the former Everton striker. Okafor has also emerged as an option, but the Whites have yet to approach the Serie A club. The 25-year-old Switzerland international could be sold as he spent the second half of last season on loan at Napoli. The Leeds target only made four appearances for the club, but he was part of the squad that won the Serie A title.
Okafor can play as a number 9 and on both wings, and the West Yorkshire club could do with his versatility and experience. They want to remain regulars in the Premier League after their last relegation, and they need quality players to become mainstays in the English top-flight. A deal for Okafor could be a huge boost to their survival chances this term.
