The Dallas Cowboys are banking on the Dak Prescott–George Pickens connection this season. Pickens comes to Dallas via the Pittsburgh Steelers in an offseason trade. Needing a secondary receiver to CeeDee Lamb, Pickens is thought to be the right guy for the job.
Especially due to his vertical threat ability — something the Cowboys have not had since Michael Gallup was a consistent player for them. Thankfully, flashes are being shown during training camp in Oxnard. And the latest came during Tuesday’s practice.
Pickens was going up the left-hand sideline, one-on-one against Andrew Booth. Prescott fired from a clean pocket, throwing it up for a 50/50 opportunity.
