The Iowa high school volleyball season has started with the first official day of practice in the books. Teams will be working over the next several weeks to get themselves ready for the postseason.

That is when the road to the Xtream Arena in Coralville and the state tournament takes shape. Many of those teams will rely on the top committed players to get them to the top.

Here are some of those top committed Iowa high school volleyball players going into the 2025 season:

Reese Naeve, Iowa City Regina

The Regal will become a Cyclone after this year, as Reese Naeve has committed to Iowa State. She is coming off a junior season in which she recorded 753 kills with 343 digs and 34 aces, serving at a 93 percent clip.

Avery Vogt, Waukee Northwest

A future Drake Bulldogs, Avery Vogt had 912 assists for the Wolves last season. She also tallied 97 kills, 172 digs, 38 blocks and 21 aces.

Campbel Drapeau, Dubuque Senior

Last year, Campbel Drapeau racked up 342 kills with 94 digs, 66 blocks and 31 aces, serving at a 94 percent rate. She has committed to the Creighton Bluejays.

Isabelle Kremer, Pleasant Valley

Another soon-to-be Drake Bulldog, Isabelle Kremer had 348 kills as a junior last season. She added 154 digs with 24 blocks and 42 aces, hitting 245 of 272 serves.

Bailey Boeve, Hinton

The second Creighton commit on our list, Bailey Boeve is a multi-sport athlete who had 174 kills, 72 blocks, 48 digs and 16 aces.

McKenzie Moeller, North Scott

Southern Illinois will be getting Kenzie Moeller after she finishes her senior season with North Scott. Last year, she had 301 kills with 143 digs, 22 blocks and 51 aces, hitting 277 of 312 service attempts.

Kaelyn Wieland, West Des Moines Valley

Not only did future Minnesota State-Mankato player Kaelyn Wieland record 159 kills last year, she added 467 assists with 250 digs, 20 blocks and 46 aces while serving at 93 percent.

Ellah Derrer, Davenport Assumption

The 6-foot-4 Ellah Derrer has committed to play for Kansas State. As a junior, she had 250 kills with 101 blocks, including 23 solos while adding 35 aces and serving 204 of 236 attempts.
