Michigan just landed a commitment from Top 100 2027 Marion (Mass.) Tabor Academy quarterback Peter Bourque.

Michigan extended an offer to Bourque in March and made him a top priority at the quarterback position for next cycle.
Bourque visited Michigan in the spring and was back on campus in June for the annual passing academy, where he had a chance to work with new offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey. Bourque earned co-MVP honors at the event.
Bourque emerged as Michigan’s top target at the position and the Wolverines were able to seal the deal.
Here is what Holland had to say about Bourque.
“Bourque was arguably my favorite quarterback on Michigan’s board for next cycle,” Holland said. “Bourque checks a lot of boxes for me. He’s athletic in and around the pocket with good footwork. He has a live arm and can throw the deep ball. He has a quick release and just looks really fluid. Bourque just has a really nice mix of a high ceiling and a high floor.”
Bourque committed to Michigan over offers from Florida, Georgia, Oregon, Penn State, Texas A&M and others.
At 6-foot-4, 195 pounds, Bourque is ranked as the No. 7 quarterback and No. 86 overall recruit nationally, per the Rivals Industry Ranking. He is also ranked as the No. 1 overall prospect in the state of Massachusetts.
Bourque is the third commit in Michigan’s 2027 recruiting class, joining three-star Southlake (Texas) Carroll offensive lineman Tristan Dare and three-star Saline (Mich.) High offensive lineman Louis Esposito.
