Theo Von, a comedian whose podcast "This Past Weekend w/Theo Von" sits at No. 6 on Spotify's podcast charts, has never shied away from expressing his love for college football.

In 2023, he even appeared as a guest picker on ESPN's "College GameDay," where he had the opportunity to predict the winner of the Big Ten, SEC, ACC and Big 12 championship games.

He wound up guessing two right, with the Texas Longhorns beating the Oklahoma State Cowboys to secure the Big 12 and the Florida State Seminoles topping the Louisville Cardinals for the ACC crown.

Theo Von Makes an Appearance at SEC Team's Practice

Considering he resides in Nashville, Tennessee, and Los Angeles, Von spends a good amount of time in the heart of SEC country and on Friday, the comedian made an appearance at the Vanderbilt Commodores' fall practice.

However, Von was born in Covington, Louisiana, just over an hour's drive from Baton Rouge and throughout his career, he's made it clear that when it comes to college football, the LSU Tigers are his first love.

In 2023, he attended one of the Tigers' practices and commemorated the experience with an Instagram post, captioned "taking offers. still got 6 1/2 week of eligibility. God did. @lsufootball and Louisiana for the warm welcome. No other state id rather be from. nobody do it like the boot."

Vanderbilt Hoping for Huge 2025 Season

Having Von attend their practice may be a nice break for the Commodores as they've given themselves some high expectations coming off a solid 2024 season, going 7-6 overall and 3-5 in SEC matchups.

While on "The Paul Finebaum Show," quarterback Diego Pavia even claimed, "I think we got the tools [offensively] and defensively to go put our foot forward and go win the national championship."

That's a bold statement considering Vanderbilt is coming off its first winning season since 2013, while ESPN's Power Football Index gives them just a 0.9% chance to make the College Football Playoff.

The Commodores open the season at home against the Charleston Southern Buccaneers at 7 p.m. ET on Aug. 30.
