The Toronto Blue Jays offense has been outstanding for a team that is enjoying quite the season. Heading into Friday's series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Blue Jays sit at 68–48, a dominant display that has them atop the AL East standings. On Wednesday, Toronto swept the series against the Colorado Rockies in historic fashion.
The Blue Jays absolutely demolished Colorado, which owns the MLB's worst record at 30-84, in the final game of the series thanks to a stellar performance from their bats, prevailing 20–1. In the series, the team collected 63 hits, scored 45 runs and posted a +39 run differential.
The runs and hits tallies are franchise records, while the hit total stands as a modern-era MLB mark.

Blue Jays Face Dodgers in Upcoming Matchup
The Los Angeles Dodgers are in similar position as the Blue Jays. Los Angeles boasts an impressive 66–49 record and sits atop the NL West standings.
However, one thing is different: The Dodgers just came off a series loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. Still, they have an ace up their sleeve: two-way star Shohei Ohtani, who shouldn’t be underestimated.
