Malick Thiaw is set to join Newcastle United this summer. The English club is on the verge of finalizing his transfer from AC Milan after several months of negotiations.
Newcastle put forward a €40 million offer, which Milan accepted, having already turned down an initial €30 million bid. According to Fabrizio Romano, talks have now concluded and the player's medical is imminent.

Of Senegalese descent, Malick Thiaw featured in 22 Serie A matches last season. The 24-year-old German defender has given the green light for the move. The contract with Newcastle is set to run until 2029. The player, currently under contract with Milan until 2027, will thus experience Premier League action next season.
