Everyone has skeletons in their closet–things nobody knows about that we’re not proud of. One of mine is… Kevin Durant sneakers. I’ve never worn, liked, or even desired a pair until now. The Nike KD 18 ‘Halloween’ (Style Code: IM1346-001) is the first of the Slim Reaper’s sneakers that I’ve ever wanted to cop. Before you seek to revoke my sneakerhead status let me explain.

I’ve never looked at a pair of KD’s and seen anything beyond a basketball shoe. I like basketball but I don't play it so when I cop b-ball shoes they’ve got to have some crossover styling ability. Halloween themed design details have given these Slim Reaper sneakers just enough swag to make me want to put them in the bag. How can you grab yours? Keep reading.

  • Nike KD 18 ‘Halloween’ - Release Date & Where to Buy
Release Date: October 21, 2025 Style Code: IM1346-001 Colorway: Black/Phantom/Sail Price: $170 Where to Buy: Nike SNKRS and select retailers

On the KD 18 ‘Halloween’ a black mesh upper is cloaked with suede overlays. The skeleton of an overturned hand appears on the side panels with the bony fingers touching the eyelets. The sneakers’ traditional lateral rear swoosh is outlined in Sail making it stand out amongst the basketball shoes' dark dominant colorway. A glow-in-the-dark outsole is yet another eerie element to this haunt heavy design.

These KD kicks are covered in character without overdoing it. A neutral colorway coupled with simple and intentional details have given a court engineered silhouette curb appeal.  You should have no bones about wearing this special edition sneaker past Halloween. Don’t let the hand hold you back. Cargos, jeans, or joggers can be worn with hoodies, graphic/plain tees, or some  Brooklyn Nets gear.

The Slim Reaper’s spookiest shoe yet, the KD 18 ‘Halloween’ (Style Code: IM1346-001) drops on October 21, 2025. Are these sneakers a trick or a treat?
