Bala Town 1-1 Flint Town United: Bala and Flint picked up a point apiece in the season opener at Maes Tegid.

Hussein Mehasseb put Bala ahead on 20 minutes, netting from a corner but Flint were level 10 minutes later through Ben Wynne's volley.

Visiting keeper Jack Flint made an important save to deny Louis Hall while his Bala opposite number Joel Torrance made a point blank save to deny Ben Hughes.

Isaac Lee featured for Flint but manager Lee Fowler confirmed after the game that The Silkmen have accepted a bid from an unnamed club for the highly rated defender.

Haverfordwest County 0-1 Penybont: Mael Davies scored the only the goal of the game as 10-man Penybont won away at fellow European qualifiers Haverfordwest County

Bont's top scorer last season, James Crole, was shown a red card for an off the ball incident five minutes after the break.

But despite being down to 10 men the visitors went ahead on the hour, Davies took advantage of uncertainty in the County defence from a free-kick to fire home.

Llanelli Town 0-2 Barry Town United: Llanelli's first game back in the top flight for six years ended in defeat at Stebonheath Park as Barry sealed victory with two first half goals.

Ben Margetson scored the opening goal of the game - and the first Cymru Premier goal of the season - to put Barry ahead on 17 minutes with Ieuan Owen getting a second in first half stoppage time.
