We have quite the pitching match-up tonight. Clayton Kershaw vs. Max Scherzer. Together, they have 435 wins and 78 years on the planet. It is a late game, 10:00 PM Eastern. I’m going to post this early so you guys in Ontario can comment on your way to bed.

And Buck Martinez is back. I hope he is healthy and happy. He’s doing the next nine games and then will be away for two weeks again, getting cancer treatment. No one should have to go through cancer treatment…..

Someone told me, this morning, that the Jays were terrible against good teams:

George Springer is hanging out with the Bisons, hitting, running and taking fly balls, but he hasn’t been given the all-clear to play a game.

Shane Bieber (i before e except after c, ignore the several words that don’t follow that rule) will make is next start for the Bisons on Saturday. I think the plan is for him to do one more after that.
