Cena addresses Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE, but YouTuber Logan Paul is getting the first crack at John.
The WWE fans in Montreal treated John Cena like a conquering hero when he kicked off tonight’s (Aug. 8) episode of SmackDown with his final appearance there. It was like John never turned heel at all this year as he ran down to the ring and exchanged emotional thank-yous with the audience.
Cena briefly addressed Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE at SummerSlam. Cena admitted he’s afraid of The Beast, but Brock is the one who now has a John Cena problem on his hands because there’s no way John is backing down from a fight.
The Last Real Champion (why is WWE still calling him that?) said anyone in the back who wants to fight him in his limited time left also has a John Cena problem on their hands. That’s when YouTube douchebag Logan Paul decided to confront Cena, of course.
Logan rightfully called out John for being a hypocrite and a phony, referring to his sudden flip flop back to being a good guy after trashing the fans so much over the last few months. John responded by saying Logan is the biggest dumbass he’s ever seen in his life.
One thing led to another, and the YouTuber challenged Cena to a match at Clash in Paris on August 31. Cena accepted the match, after Cody Rhodes saved him from a sneak attack by Drew McIntyre, that is.
Cena’s night isn’t over, as now he’s scheduled to team up with Rhodes to take on Paul and McIntyre later in the night.
