West coast baseball! For the second-to-last time in 2025, the Red Sox have a first pitch scheduled for after 9 p.m. ET. It’s a rivalry game of sorts, with Nick Pivetta taking the mound against his former team, and Walker Buehler pitching against a former division rival. Xander Bogaerts also starts at shortstop for the Padres, and Manny Machado climbed out of the hole he lives in to play third base.
