The dominance of Corey Heim continues. Despite issues in the race, Heim made a comeback to stretch fuel and win. Watkins Glen marks the fourth straight road course win for the Tricon Garage driver in the NASCAR Truck Series.
Multiple overtime restarts almost kept Corey Heim from winning. Not only was he low on fuel, but on the final restart, he appeared to make at least a couple of mistakes or missteps.
Daniel Hemric pressured Heim hard on the final restart. But things went Heim’s way once again as he collected his sixth win of the season. He already secured the regular season title at IRP two weeks ago. This is just icing on the cake.
