West Virginia has added a pair of new faces to the roster, with both already participating in team practices.
Olu Omotosho, a transfer from Oregon State, is now listed as a defensive lineman for the Mountaineers. The 6-foot-2 defender played in nine games last season, recording 14 tackles, one sack, and six quarterback hurries despite battling through injury.
Prior to his time with the Beavers, Omotosho played at Wyoming, where he had a breakout season in 2022 with 46 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 10 quarterback hurries. He started his career in 2020 and has one year of eligibility remaining.
Omotosho appeared in 206 snaps last year and earned a 67.2 grade from Pro Football Focus.
Caleb Nuhi-Yandall arrives from Cerritos College, where the 6-foot, 240-pound linebacker earned First Team All-Conference honors. He finished the 2023 season with 52 tackles, including 4.5 for loss, two sacks, an interception, and three pass breakups.
A former Marine League Player of the Year at Banning High School in California, Nuhi-Yandall racked up 114 tackles and four interceptions as a senior. He’s the nephew of Cerritos defensive line coach Davy Gnodle and the son of Falcons assistant Bronston Yandall.
Nuhi-Yandall has one year of eligibility remaining.
Nuhi-Yandall has yet to be officially added to the WVU roster but is currently practicing with the team.
