Aston Villa have completed the signing of forward Evann Guessand from OGC Nice.
The club have confirmed the transfer for an undisclosed fee reported to be worth a total of €35 million (£30.4 million) of which €30 million will be paid up front to the Ligue 1 side.
Guessand came through the academy at Nice and made his debut in the 2019/20 season. In total, the 24-year-old played 108 times for the club, scoring 21 goals and assisting a further 11. During his time at the club, Guessand also spent loan spells away at Lausanne-Sport and Nantes respectively.
The signing of Guessand is Villa's fourth of the summer window so far, following the arrivals of Yasin Özcan, Zépiqueno Redmond, and Marco Bizot.
