It marks one of their best stretches of the WNBA season—and they’ve managed to pull it off without star point guard Caitlin Clark, who has been sidelined with a groin injury since before the All-Star break.
While it’s been a collective team effort in Clark’s absence, it’s Aliyah Boston who has taken charge over the past week. On Tuesday, the WNBA named her the Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
Over the Fever’s last three games, Boston has averaged 16.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game—recording three consecutive double-doubles. She is joined by Kayla McBride of the Minnesota Lynx, who was named the Western Conference Player of the Week.

This marks Aliyah Boston’s third Player of the Week honor in her young career since being drafted No. 1 overall out of South Carolina in 2023.
She’s been a cornerstone of the Fever’s resurgence over the past two seasons and is averaging 15.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.0 steals per game this year. Boston earned her third consecutive All-Star selection in 2025, and with Indiana sitting at 17–12, the team is firmly on track to reach the playoffs for the second straight season.
