The Indiana Fever enter Tuesday night's game against the Los Angeles Sparks riding a five-game winning streak, the longest since the franchise won six straight in 2015.
Aliyah Boston has been the driving force behind the Fever’s recent surge in Caitlin Clark’s absence, taking her game to another level.
The 6-foot-5 forward dominated with 22 points, 12 rebounds and an assist against the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday. On Friday, she followed up with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and five assists in a win over the Dallas Wings. Then on Sunday, she capped off the week with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and two assists against the Seattle Storm.
As a result of her play, the WNBA named her the Eastern Conference Player of the Week on Tuesday. The announcement came alongside Minnesota Lynx guard Kayla McBride being named the Western Conference Player of the Week.

Aliyah Boston's Basketball Journey
Boston is in her third WNBA season after being selected first overall by the Fever in 2023. She played her college basketball for Dawn Staley’s South Carolina Gamecocks, where she was named the Naismith College Player of the Year, earned three unanimous First-Team All-American honors, won a national championship, and was named the NCAA Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.
Since entering the WNBA, Boston has won Rookie of the Year in 2023 and has been named an All-Star in each of her three professional seasons.
In 2025, the 23-year-old is averaging 15.5 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game.
Boston's latest Player of the Week award gives her the sixth-most in the WNBA since being drafted.
