This past week saw the Indiana Fever continue their surprising midseason surge, defeating the Minnesota Lynx 74-59 to claim the Commissioner's Cup on Tuesday before a commanding 81-54 victory over the Las Vegas Aces on Thursday.

Despite missing star guard Caitlin Clark, the Fever have won three straight and now sit at 9-8 overall, bolstered by key performances from Kelsey Mitchell, Natasha Howard and Aliyah Boston.

Hours before facing the Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday, the Fever took to X to remind fans, "only two more weeks until #WNBAAllStar2025 is in town 🌟😏," showing a giant billboard featuring Clark, a 2025 WNBA All-Star captain.

The league’s marquee midseason exhibition is set for July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in downtown Indianapolis.

Fever coach Stephanie White confirmed on Friday that Clark will miss her fifth consecutive game with a left groin injury, marking her 10th absence of the season, including the Cup final.

The 23‑year‑old has averaged 18.2 points, 8.9 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals across nine starts so far this season.

Clark’s groin issue flared after she returned from a five‑game hiatus earlier this season due to a left quad strain and White characterized her status as "very much a day‑to‑day thing."

Those comments were made just under two weeks ago.

Prior to these injuries, Clark hadn't missed any time in her collegiate or professional careers.

As the clock ticks down to July 19, Fever fans can look forward to Clark’s inevitable return and the broader showcase of talent converging on Indiana’s capital.
