The trade rumors surrounding Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo have taken over the NBA offseason, with yet another update coming on Monday.

On ESPN’s Get Up, NBA insider Shams Charania said that there is still plenty of uncertainty regarding Antetokounmpo’s future in Milwaukee. Neither he nor the Bucks have indicated that a divorce of their marriage is imminent.

“Sources tell me there's still nothing set in stone about whether Giannis Antetokounmpo will stay in Milwaukee or whether he will be leaving,” Charania said. “He’s evaluating whether his best fit is in Milwaukee, or is it elsewhere, and that process is continuing.”

Antetokounmpo’s Bucks have bowed out in the first round of the playoffs in each of the last three seasons, this along with the departure of Damian Lillard has prompted many to think they could be looking to go in a different direction.

The nine-time All-Star is still firmly in the midst of his prime. Last season, he averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game, finishing third in MVP voting. Now, Bucks fans may have to start to come to grips with the fact that one of the best players in franchise history could be on the move.

Antetokounmpo’s trade saga has essentially put the NBA offseason on hold, with many teams opting to monitor that situation before making any other hasty decisions. Nonetheless, for the time being he remains a Milwaukee Buck, and it is to be determined if that still holds true by the start of next season.
