U-M football got a commitment from lineman Tristan Dare, a three-star prospect from Southlake, Texas.
With Michigan football’s Class of 2026 largely in place, the Wolverines are staring to lay the foundation for the 2027 crop.
Tristan Dare, a 6-foot-4, 290-pound line interior lineman from Southlake, Texas, (Southlake Carroll) committed to the Wolverines on Monday, Aug. 4.
Dare, a three-star prospect, is rated the No. 28 interior lineman, No. 58 player in the state of Texas and No. 496 player regardless of position in the Class of 2027 per 247Sports composite rankings.
Dare held 30 Division I offers, including more than two dozen from Power 4 schools. Among those schools are Ohio State, Penn State, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Florida, Florida State and Wisconsin.
Dare is now the second U-M commit in the class of 2027, both of which are offensive linemen. He joins Louis Esposito, the son of defensive line coach Lou Esposito, out of Saline.
