Sheffield United have signed Braga midfielder Djibril Soumare on a season-long loan.
The 22-year-old Senegalese spent last season on loan with fellow Primeira Liga side CD Nacional and scored once in 23 league appearances.
The Senegal Under-23 international is the Blades' fifth summer signing.
"It is a real honour to sign for Sheffield United and I'm really excited to come to England and test myself in English football," he told the club website.
The Blades, losing Championship play-off finalists last season, say the deal includes "an obligation to buy upon certain criteria being met".
