Newcastle United have shortlisted PSG star as a fallback option if they fail to land Benjamin Sesko.
Newcastle United have a lot of uncertainty around Alexander Isak's future at the club and therefore they are pushing for sign a replacement this summer.
The Magpies have been extremely competitive in the Premier League in recent years, and they have also qualified for the Champions League in the upcoming season.
So, they need a potent striker in their ranks to compete against top teams in England and also in Europe.
Since, Isak's departure rumours, Newcastle United have been linked with RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko along with Manchester United.
However, as per reports from Daily Mail's Craig Hope suggest that Newcastle United have identified PSG striker Goncalo Ramos as an alternative for Sesko.
The Slovenian remains the top choice for the Magpies and a ultimatum on his future is expected soon. So if things don't go as per plan for them, they may look at Ramos.

Several reports in May highlighted rampant interest in Ramos among clubs like Aston Villa, Napoli, Newcastle and Juventus. Later, AC Milan also joined forces in their interest for the Portuguese striker.
Why are Newcastle United interested in Goncalo Ramos?
Ramos has been a backup striker for Luis Enrique's PSG as the Spanish coach prefers to play Ousmane Dembele upfront in a fluid attacking system.
The Portugal international featured in 41 matches for the Parisians last season where he hammered 18 goals and provided six assists across all competitions.
The 24-year-old is known for his physical prowess and hold-up play upfront, offering an alternative outlet to Enrique.
Despite being a backup, the Portuguese striker has registered decent numbers over the last couple of years and therefore Newcastle believe that he can be a viable option for them.
However, it remains to be seen if the Magpies manage to meet PSG's lofty demands for the 24-year-old if at all Eddie Howe's side make a move for him this summer.
Earlier, AC Milan launched an effort to sign Ramos, but they were taken aback by PSG's reportedly high demands as the reigning Champions League winners aim to keep hold of the forward.
