Duran can bring it.
The Philadelphia Phillies' fanbase has already fallen in love with Jhoan Duran.
It's easy to see why.
The right-handed flamethrower is the answer to the Phillies' bullpen prayers.
An area of the team that has struggled all season since Jose Alvarado was handed an 80-game suspension finally has a savior.
Duran delivered on Sunday Night Baseball, closing out the AL Central-leading Tigers with a quick save.

His final matchup of the night set a record, too.
In striking out Riley Greene, Duran unleashed a 103.3 mile per hour offering. It's the fastest ever thrown at Citizens Bank Park. And he threw the last pitch of the game at 102.5 miles per hour, the fastest for a strikeout by a Phillies pitcher.

Just like when Duran enters to his soon-to-be-popular entrance song, that heater shut the lights off and started the party.
The Phillies are loving life with a dominant closer at the back of their bullpen already.
It's not a guarantee of anything, of course. But the former Minnesota Twins stopper is now the man to slam the door shut for the Phillies. And if he keeps throwing 103 MPH, that door will keep getting slammed shut in a hurry.
