Fans allowed to bring food into Speedway Classic after concessions ran out Saturday night

Fans at Bristol Motor Speedway tweeted that concession stands were out of food Saturday night as rain delayed the game and suspended it until Sunday.

Among the problems encountered Saturday night at Bristol Motor Speedway as the MLB Speedway Classic was suspended until Sunday because of rain: Many fans complained that the venue ran out of many food items at concession stands, and Fox Sports host Kevin Burkhardt made mention of it during the broadcast.

Before Sunday's resumption, WSB-TV's Alison Mastrangelo tweeted that a gas station near the speedway had a line of Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds fans buying food and drinks to bring into the game with them, adding that fans were allowed to do so because concessions ran out Saturday night.
