The status of Inter Milan’s pursuit of Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman is still up in the air.
It’s been a couple days since La Dea’s bombshell rejection of Inter’s second offer for the Nigerian. They turned down a bid of €42 million plus €3 million in add-ons.
And Inter are still mulling over whether to return with another improved bid.

In the meantime, Lookman himself has turned up the pressure on Atalanta.
The 27-year-old has sent a clear message to his club by removing all traces of his current employment from his Instagram account.
And with Lookman back in training – and his teammates set to return – the player could put the screws to La Dea even further.
Inter are not going to increase their bid right away.
The Nerazzurri will wait and see if Atalanta relent to pressure from Lookman and his representatives.
The Bergamo club may well be waiting for Lookman to really force his way out. That way they could save some face with their fans by making it clear that they did what they could to avoid selling him.
