'We're out of food. So it's really panic time.': Fox's Burkhardt sums up Bristol nightmare

Just before the MLB Speedway Classic was suspended until Sunday afternoon, Fox Sports' Kevin Burkhardt echoed sentiments of fans on social media.

Many fans at Tennessee's Bristol Motor Speedway tweeted as rain delayed the 2025 MLB Speedway Classic tweeted about long lines at the venue, and suggested that many food items were unavailable at concession stands with the huge crowd on hand.

Fox Sports' Kevin Burkhardt didn't provide details, but said during the broadcast, just before the game was suspended until Sunday afternoon, that "we're out of food, so it's really panic time."

Before the deluge, the Reds were expecting to have their first scheduled day off on a Sunday since the 1930s. Instead, they'll resume their series finale against the Braves with a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning.
