A new suitor have positioned themselves firmly in the race for Sevilla star Juanlu Sánchez.
That’s according to market insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Wolverhampton Wanderers as the outfit in question.
The subject of defender Juanlu’s future has of course been a prominent one in the Spanish media headlines across the summer to date.
This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the 21-year-old had positioned himself front and centre on the transfer wishlist of Italian champions Napoli.
With Sevilla in a trying financial situation at present, talks, in turn, had long been kicked into gear between the two clubs.
As alluded to above, though, this week, Napoli have been rivalled in their pursuit of Juanlu.
As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:
‘Wolves are pushing in talks to sign Juanlu after Napoli have been in negotiations for 1 month. Juanlu has agreed personal terms with Napoli, Wolves are trying with better proposal to Sevilla.’
