Speaking on Wednesday, Sébastien Pocognoli said that there were doubts surrounding the availability of several players, as AS Monaco head to face Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes.
Those doubts surrounded club captain Denis Zakaria, Jordan Teze, and Mika Biereth. The former two are having their workloads managed, whilst the latter was ill and so missed out on Wednesday’s session entirely. All three have been included in Monaco’s matchday squad, although whether they start is another question entirely.
Zakaria may start regardless, due to the lack of options at the back. Christian Mawissa recently returned but the Principality club are wanting to ease the young Frenchman back into action. They may therefore be reluctant to start Mawissa tonight.
The likes of Mohammed Salisu, Takumi Minamino, Pape Cabral, Krépin Diatta, Eric Dier, Kassoum Ouattara, Lukas Hradecky, and Paul Pogba all remain sidelined.
