The Michigan Wolverines are set to open their 2025 season fairly soon with the New Mexico Lobos expected to visit Ann Arbor on August 30 for Michigan's season opener. The Wolverines have not named a starting quarterback despite virtually all signs pointing toward freshman QB Bryce Underwood, who led the Blue Team to a 17-0 victory over Jadyn Davis' Maize Team in April's Spring Game at the Big House. On Wednesday, Underwood's latest height and weight were finally revealed, painting the picture of a player who compares favorably to college football and NFL greats at a relatively young stage of his career.

"Michigan QB Bryce Underwood is officially listed at 6-foot-4, 238 pounds," writer Clayton Sayfie of TheWolverine.com wrote on his X page.

Sayfie also included a quote from the hotshot freshman on the Wolverines' strength and conditioning staff.

"I feel like it's made me more explosive," Underwood said.

"They help with our speed and everything like that, so I feel faster than I usually do," he added.

Underwood is listed as one inch shorter and ten pounds lighter than Buffalo Bills superstar quarterback Josh Allen, whom one fan compared him to on Facebook.

"Cam Newton 2.0," another fan wrote in the comments section Sayfie's post.

"So was JaMarcus Russell," another said of the former LSU star and high NFL draft pick.

"238 is crazy," another person said with a pair of sideways laughing and crying emojis on Facebook.

"Gotta d lineman playing QB," they added.

"Michigan version of Vince Young," another said with a maize 'M' emoji of the former Texas QB whose team beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl in 2005 on a last-second field goal.
