The Blues recovered well from a poor start, which saw them a goal down in the first five minutes, to run out emphatic 4-1 winners.
Joao Pedro stole the show as he scored a brilliant hat-trick, whilst Cole Palmer also got himself on the scoresheet, as Chelsea moved above Liverpool into fifth.
Liam Rosenior better for Joao Pedro than Enzo Maresca was?
Pedro has now scored 14 league goals in 29 appearances, and has 17 in all competitions following his move from Brighton last summer.
The 24-year-old has been in scintillating form since the arrival of Rosenior at the start of the year, and has eight goals in the last eight league games.

Pedro started well under Maresca at the Club World Cup and at the start of the season, but went through a difficult patch, and McManaman believes he’s better suited to Rosenior.
“The main thing is that he doesn’t need to drop, or go out wide,” he said on commentary for TNT Sports.
“He just needs to stay in the right areas, and score goals and he will become an absolute superstar, just by doing that.
“Leave it to Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernandez, Garnacho, to set him up, as long as he puts it in the back of the net, that’s all he needs to do. It’s about having the right manager, and right people around you.”
Chelsea face Wrexham FA Cup test
With the games coming thick and fast and a huge Champions League game against PSG next week, Rosenior is likely to make a number of changes to the side.
Despite Pedro’s form he will probably find himself on the bench against Wrexham, with Liam Delap likely to be given an opportunity from the off.

It’s vital the Blues keep Pedro well rested as they’ll need him at their best if they are to get past PSG and secure a top five finish in the league.
