The first game of the World Baseball Classic will feature Chinese Taipei facing off against Australia at the Tokyo Dome on Wednesday, March 4. Each team will be sending out their country's best players to compete in the international tournament that comes around roughly every three years. The group stage of the tournament lasts just over a week; playoffs will begin March 13, with the championship final scheduled for March 17 at 8 p.m. ET.
