‘Dream for now’ – £70m Bayern star comments on future amid Man Utd transfer link

Aleksandar Pavlovic has admitted that he dreams of playing for Bayern Munich for the rest of his career, amid interest from Manchester United. 

The Red Devils are looking to revamp their midfield next summer, and they have already been linked with a host of players.

Man Utd have already confirmed that Casemiro will leave the club at the end of the season, and the Red Devils need a quality replacement.

Manchester United eye move for Aleksandar Pavlovic?

Under Ruben Amorim, Kobbie Mainoo looked almost certain to leave the club, but the youngster has found his mojo back under Michael Carrick.

However, doubts remain over the long-term futures of Manuel Ugarte and Bruno Fernandes.

In recent months, the Red Devils have been linked to quality Premier League midfielders, including Carlos Baleba, Adam Wharton, and Elliot Anderson.

Caughtoffside reported a few months back that Man Utd have been checking on Pavlovic, who been impressive under Vincent Kompany this season.

It has been suggested that Man Utd would need to pay a fee in the region of £70m (€80m) to lure the midfielder away from Allianz Arena.

Aleksandar Pavlovic comments on his future

The 21-year-old has progressed from the club’s youth academy and has been regular under Kompany this season.

The German midfielder has made 13 starts in the Bundesliga, with a further seven appearances coming from the bench.

Pavolovic is among the first names on the teamsheet in the Champions League and has made eight starts, showcasing his importance.

The best thing there is would be to play here for a lifetime with the fans, with the team. But of course, in life you never know what will happen, and that’s why it’s just a dream for now. If everything goes well, as we imagine, that would be wonderful.”

Christian Falk has told CFBayern that Bayern will not sell Pavlovic, and Man Utd have no chance of signing the German midfielder.
