Angel Reese returned to game action on Tuesday after missing the past two games due to injury. Reese has been battling a back injury this season, having missed three total games this year for the Chicago Sky.

Despite facing injury concerns, Reese has established herself as one of the best rebounders in the world. Heading into Tuesday's game, she led the league in rebounds per game (12.5). She's the only player in the WNBA averaging double-digit rebounds. She was also averaging 13.8 points per game, good for No. 25 in the league.

Even with her inconsistent playing and practice time over the past week, Reese entered Tuesday's matchup between her Sky and Washington Mystics with an impressive streak.

Reese put up monster numbers against the Mystics, despite her team's 103-86 loss, extending her incredible double-double streak to 11 consecutive games.

Her current streak is the third longest in WNBA history, trailing only herself (15 games) and Candace Parker (12 games).

Reese continues to receive criticism for her offensive efficiency, however, she is shooting a career-high 44.4% from the field this season.

Reese finished with 22 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and two blocks against the Mystics on Tuesday.

Even though Reese is having the best season of her career, the Sky's struggles continue. The Sky have now lost six consecutive games, the longest losing streak in the WNBA.

They hold the second worst record in the league at 7-19. Reese will have her next opportunity to extend her double-double streak on Friday at 7:30 p.m. EDT, at home, against the Golden State Valkyries.
