Kiki Van Zanten has quite the resume. She was born in Illinois and played college soccer at Notre Dame. When it comes to international play, the midfielder represents Jamaica. She currently also is on the roster of the NWSL Houston Dash. Van Zanten came to the Dash via the 2024 league draft when she was chosen 21st. She is in the option year of a contract. KVZ loves being a part of the Reggae Girlz, the Jamaican National team.
“I didn’t know much about the team. I actually heard about them when I was getting recruited [as] someone asked if I was interested in playing with Jamaica because he had connections with the coach at the time,”said Van Zanten whose mother is Jamaican. "So it’s really exciting to be here and I feel really blessed to have the opportunity to compete in these games and represent Jamaica."
